WE ARE SINGING OUT
AND WE LOVE TO SING

We believe that singing is good for the soul and that everyone should be able to sing freely. We are Toronto’s largest 2SLGBTQQIA+ non-auditioned, mixed-voice choir and all are welcome. Anyone, no matter their level of experience, who wishes to join us in song is encouraged to do so. 

Singing Out has two terms per year with one starting in September and the other starting in January. We have weekly rehearsals on Tuesday evenings.

Singing Out offers a reduced membership fee structure for anyone who needs financial assistance. Cost should never be a barrier.  If you need additional financial support, please contact us at Support@singingout.com to discuss confidential options.

Membership fees

Choose this option if you’re able to contribute a little extra to help keep Singing Out accessible for everyone.

Default membership level for all members

Available for full-time students, people who are currently unemployed, or working part-time while seeking full-time work

MEMBERS RECEIVING SOCIAL ASSISTANCE (E.G. ODSP, ONTARIO WORKS, CPP-D)

For those who want to support the choir, and stay part of the community, but choose not to sing this term

  • Members to be encouraged to pay the regular membership if they are able to afford to do so, regardless of whether a reduced tier applies to their situation
  • Lower cost tiers are on an honor system – however, you may be asked for verification of status

Registrations will open up based on what voice parts are needed in the choir. Registration happens twice a year – August and December for our Pride and Holiday terms respectively.

Once you’ve joined the list you will receive emails about when membership is opening. Places will be first come first served based on availability so please keep an eye out for an email inviting you to register from Singing Out.
